Het Schengenplein is een van de laatste nieuwe aanwinsten op het Eilandje. Je vindt het pp de voormalige parking van het vroegere douanegebouw. Met 10.000 vierkante meter is dit autovrije plein even groot als de Groenplaats. In het park met grote bomen zijn er verschillende wandelpaden en speelzones. Je ontdekt al snel waarom dit het groene hart van het Eilandje wordt genoemd.
