Dit park gaat terug tot de middeleeuwen, toen rijke kooplieden en adellijke families hier hun buitenverblijf hadden. In 1912 kocht Borgerhout het domein en maakte er een openbaar park van. Alleen het Cogelspaviljoen herinnert nu nog aan het kasteel dat hier stond. Vandaag is Te Boelaarpark een geliefde plek om te wandelen, van de zon te genieten of de kinderen te laten ravotten in de speeltuin of speelfontein. Rond het park bruist het van het leven, met cafés en bars zoals Bar Brul, Café José, Foxy, François en Bowie. Zo combineert Te Boelaarpark het beste van twee werelden: rust in het groen, met de levendigheid van Borgerhout.
