Het heldenbos is 1,30 hectare publiek toegankelijk buurtgroen, dichtbij het centrum van Zulte, in de zone tussen de Kapellestraat, de Kouterweg en de Dennenstraat.
Dit bos werd aangelegd als eerbetoon en levende herinnering aan de inzet van alle zorgdragers, voor en achter de schermen tijdens de coronacrisis.
Er is ook een hondenloopweide en een heuse pluktuin met een aantal bessenstruiken en wat hoogstammige fruitbomen en een rustbank.
