De Brembosmolen is de enige bewaarde watermolen te Ronse. Destijds telde Ronse tien watermolens. Ze wordt reeds in 1577 vermeld in de penningkohieren. De molen deed dienst als graanmolen en schorsmolen (eikenschors voor de leerlooiers). Ze was in gebruik tot 1962.
