Het Albert I-monument staat op de punt van het eiland Monsin dat de Maas van het Albertkanaal scheidt, stroomafwaarts van Luik. Het werd ingehuldigd door Leopold III in augustus 1939 ter nagedachtenis aan Albert I, die zelf op 31 mei 1930 de werkzaamheden van het kanaal had ingehuldigd. De architect is Joseph Moutschen.
