Ganshoren is een plaats en gemeente in het noordwesten van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. De gemeente telt ruim 24.000 inwoners. Tot 1954 behoorde de gemeente tot het Nederlandstalig gedeelte van de toenmalige provincie Brabant.
Tot de gemeente behoren enerzijds de drukke Keizer-Karellaan en een deel van de omgeving van de basiliek van Koekelberg, maar anderzijds ook rustigere woonwijken en het groendomein van Kasteel de Rivieren.
