In 2017 namen zo’n 2500 Vlaamse ambtenaren hun intrek in dit passiefgebouw. Het gelijkvloers atrium met wintertuin is tijdens de werkuren open voor het publiek.
Het nieuwe, zwarte gebouw links heeft een bijnaam die geen verklaring hoeft: de ‘Broodrooster’. Het huisvest sinds 2013 Leefmilieu Brussel, de milieuadministratie van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. Ook dit is een passiefgebouw, opgetrokken uit hernieuwbare bouwmaterialen en met een uitstekende isolatie en zonnepanelen op het dak. In de winter wordt het verwarmd met grondwater, dat in de zomer dan weer voor afkoeling zorgt. Het atrium met sociaal restaurant is open voor het publiek, vaak zelfs in het weekend.
