De waterburcht Bossenstein, die je tussen de bomen door kan zien, is nu het hart van de golfclub. Het middeleeuwse kasteel wordt gedomineerd door een donjontoren. Een eerste vermelding ervan is teruggevonden uit 1346 als eigendom van Joannes de Busco of ‘Van den Bossche’ en daarvan de naam Bossenstein. Op de foto zie je een van de boerderijen verbonden aan het kasteel.
