Dit Oorlogsmonument bevindt zich tegen een tuinmuur aan de O.L.V. Hemelvaartkerk in Damme.
Het werd opgericht ter nagedachtenis van de burgerlijke en militaire slachtoffers uit de Eerste en Tweede Wereldoorlog. De gedenkplaat werd onthuld op 21 juli 1986.
Damme kende in de eerste wereldoorlog 4 oorlogsslachtoffers op een bevolking van 1216 inwoners. Er werden 44 mannen onder de wapens geroepen.
