Dit oorlogsmonument staat aan de kerk van Bure.
Het herdenkt de slachtoffers van beide wereldoorlogen. Het is echter vooral in de tweede wereldoorlog dat in Bure een belangrijke slag tijdens het Von Rundstedtoffensief werd gevoerd. Hierbij moest een bataljon parachutisten dat geland was in Normandië halsoverkop naar het front hier overvliegen.
