Eén van de bezienswaardigheden van Saint-Fontaine is de doorwaadbare plaats. Het is waarschijnlijk één van de weinige plaatsen in België waar een dorpsweg overstroomt wordt door een beek, in dit geval de Saint-Lambert.

Het prachtige dorp Saint-Fontaine wordt ook "cint" geheten, wat honderd fonteinen betekent, in verband met de vele bronnen die de beken en vijvers van het dorp voeden.
