De wandeling begint op de parkeerplaats van het gemeentehuis in Aywaille. Ga richting de huizen die tegen de heuvel zijn gebouwd. Volg de bewegwijzering door achter een rij huizen langs omhoog te lopen naar de Alpage en het gehucht Sur la Heid. Voordat de afdaling naar Remouchamps begint, ontdekt u op de wandeling verschillende uitkijkpunten zoals La Corniche, La Falize en la Heid des Gattes en het natuurreservaat met dezelfde naam waar u bijzondere flora en fauna (“joubarbe” van Aywaille) kunt ontdekken. Vervolgens de Amblève oversteken in Remouchamps en via de Voie des Aulnes en het naar het gemeentepark terug. Percentage bos: 32%.
