De start is op de rechteroever bij de wateroversteek. U loopt langs de Maas, langs de BBQ-plaats en de oude steenfabriek. Verderop gaat u het bos in om Blaimont te bereiken. Voor een drankje heeft La Bonne Heure een prachtig terras en het Domaine des Etoiles biedt bungalows te huur aan. De afdaling naar de rand van de Maas is vrij sportief, want de helling is steil. Dan ga je naar rechts langs de rivier. We passeren het kalkstenen kasteel van Hastière, de abdijkerk en het landhuis Carton de Wiart. Terug naar de Waulsort dam en zijn vistrap. Na zo'n lange reis is het mogelijk uw dorst te lessen bij de wateroversteekplaats, in de Villa 1900 of in de Panama Rio.
