The start is on the right bank at the water crossing. You walk along the Maas, past the BBQ area and the old brick factory. Further on, you enter the woods to reach Blaimont. For a drink, La Bonne Heure has a beautiful terrace and the Domaine des Etoiles offers bungalows for rent. The descent to the edge of the Maas is quite sporty, as the slope is steep. Then you go right along the river. We pass the limestone castle of Hastière, the abbey church, and the Carton de Wiart manor house. Back to the Waulsort dam and its fish ladder. After such a long journey, it is possible to quench your thirst at the water crossing, in Villa 1900, or at Panama Rio.
