Dagtocht van station (Flemalle-Haut) naar station (Amay). Beide stationnetjes liggen op de lijn Luik-Huy-Namen.
Erg contrastrijke ervaring. Oude en versleten arbeidersdorpen in de geïndustrialiseerde vallei van de maas, landbouw op de hogere delen en twee parels van kasteeldomeinen.
Niet echt een klassiek wandelgebied vol natuurschoon, maar wel op en top authentiek Waals.
Vanaf de dorpskom van Flémalle Haut volg je de rood-wit-markering van de GR 579. Aan het kasteel van Jehay volg je een GR-variant tot aan het stationnetje van Amay.
