Schrijver en dichter Pol De Mont (1857-1931) schreef met ‘Aan mijn Payottenland’ een ode aan zijn geboortestreek. En de liefde is wederkerig, deze wandeling start aan het geboortehuis van de literaire artiest en neemt je mee op ontdekkingstocht door het dorpje Wambeek. Je komt door het natuurgebied Kouterbroeken en voorbij brouwerij De Troch die al sinds 1795 gevestigd is in een mooie boerderij vlakbij het dorpscentrum.
