De wandeling start en eindigt net over de grens bij Thorn in het Belgische plaatsje Kessenich. Je wandelt door het Vijverbroek en komt o.a. in het witte stadje Thorn.
Deze wandeling is onderdeel van het natuurgebied Drie Eigen. Dit gebied leid je door een zeer divers landschap, dat werd geschapen door Maas en mens. Tijdens deze internationale wandeling maak je kennis met de verrassende combinatie tussen natuur en cultuur.
