De Gentse Poëzieroute loopt tussen het Poëziecentrum op de Vrijdagmarkt en het S.M.A.K. in het Citadelpark en telt 20 locaties. Er is een aparte Jongerenpoëzieroute. De route werd officieel ingewandeld op 17 oktober 2000. De route wordt beheerd door de Stad Gent. Het Poëziecentrum biedt geleide wandelingen aan.
