De fietstocht begint in Bouwel ten zuiden van Grobbendonk. Langs de fietsknooppunten gaat het naar het oosten tot in Westerlo. Vandaar een boogje ten zuiden van Herselt naar Ramsel waar we een eindje fietsen langs de oude spoorwegbedding Aarschot - Herentals. Aan de Grote Nete fietsen we westwaards tot in Heist-op-den-berg en vandaar terug noorderlijk naar het beginpunt in Bouwel.
