De Lötschberg is een Alpenovergang in Zwitserland tussen het Kandertal in het kanton Bern en het Lötschental in het kanton Wallis. Er is geen piek genaamd Lötschberg. Oorspronkelijk werd de Lötschenpas gelijkgesteld met de Lötschberg. De pas leidt van het Gasterntal in het Berner Oberland naar Ferden in het Wallis en is alleen te voet begaanbaar.
Tegenwoordig wordt met "Lötschberg" verwezen naar ofwel de Lötschbergtunnel van 1913, een 14,6 km lange spoortunnel van Kandersteg naar Goppenstein, of de Lötschberg-Basistunnel van 2007, een 34,6 km lange spoortunnel van Frutigen naar Raron. De nieuwe Lötschberg-Basistunnel, een onderdeel van het NEAT-project, verlaagt de tophoogte van de spoorlijn van 1240 m naar 825 m. De Lötschbergbaanlijn en de voortzetting ervan door de Simplon is na de Gotthard de op een na belangrijkste Alpenpassage van Zwitserland.
