Het Museumsinsel is een eiland in de rivier de Spree, midden in de stad Berlijn, waar zich vijf musea bevinden. Dit zijn:
Een vele jaren durende restauratie van de verschillende musea is in volle gang, waarbij enkele musea soms voor een bepaalde periode gesloten zullen zijn. Inmiddels is de restauratie van de Alte Nationalgalerie en het Bode-Museum afgerond. Het Neues Museum is in 2009 heropend, waarna de restauratie van het Pergamonmuseum en het Altes Museum van start zullen gaan.
