Het Bode Museum noemde vroeger het Kaiser Friedrichmuseum. Hier bevonden zich zes panelen van het schilderij Het Lam Gods. Het Sint-Baafskapittel had ze toen verkocht omdat ze geld nodig hadden. Na WO I werd vastgelegd in het Verdrag van Versailles, artikel 247, hoofdstuk herstelbetalingen, dat de panelen terug moesten naar België. De nazi's zouden het later niet vergeten...
