Baabe is een gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Mecklenburg-Voor-Pommeren. De gemeente maakt deel uit van het Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen. Baabe telt 898 inwoners.
Baabe is een dorpje aan de Oostzee en ligt in het oosten van het eiland Rügen, op het schiereiland Mönchgut. Het is een badplaats en een erkend kuuroord. Ten noorden grenst het aan Sellin en ten zuiden aan Göhren; door het dorp rijdt om de twee uur de stoomtrein Rasender Roland, die tevens op aanvraag een extra halte in het gehucht Philippshagen heeft.
