Mosbach is een plaats in de Duitse deelstaat Baden-Württemberg. Het is de Kreisstadt van het Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis. De stad telt 23.425 inwoners.
Op 10 april 1602 overleed hier Amalia van Nieuwenaar-Alpen, Keurvorstin van de Palts , weduwe van Hendrik van Brederode 12de Heer van Brederode; Heer van Vianen en Ameide , samen met Lodewijk van Nassau, leider van het Verbond der Edelen. Zij boden op 5 april 1566 de landvoogdes het beroemde Smeekschrift aan.
