Günnigfeld is een stadsdeel van Bochum. Het ligt in het noorden van de voormalige stad Wattenscheid, nu in het district Wattenscheid, en grenst aan Gelsenkirchen en Herne.
Vroeger stond er in het zuiden van Günnigfeld een schachtinstallatie van de mijn Hannover. Tegenwoordig ligt hier het groene gebied Kruppwald. De arbeiders woonden in de "Kolonie Hannover" met de nog steeds bestaande mijnwerkerswoningen. Ze zijn te vinden in de straatgroep met mannelijke voornamen.
