Ingolstadt (Duits: [ˈʔɪŋɡɔlˌʃtat], Oostenrijks-Bayerisch: [ˈʔɪŋl̩ʃtɔːd]) is een stad in Beieren, Duitsland, aan de oevers van de Donau, in het midden van Beieren. In 2016 had het 133.638 inwoners, waarmee het de vijfde grootste stad in Beieren is. Het maakt deel uit van de Metropoolregio München.
De Illuminati, een geheime samenleving uit de Verlichting, werd in het late 18e eeuw in Ingolstadt opgericht.
