De Dechengrot is één van de mooiste grotten van Duitsland. 360 meter van de 870-meter lange grot zijn de bekijken door de bezoekers. De grot werd pas ontdekt in 1868 door twee treinwerkers. De naam van de grot is deze van de geoloog Heinrich von Dechen die veel heeft bijgedragen aan de geologie van deze regio.
