Het klooster Steinhaus is een kruisheerlijk klooster dat in 1298 werd gesticht in de Wuppertalse wijk Beyenburg, dat in 1804 werd geseculariseerd, maar in 1964 opnieuw werd gewijd.
Al voor 1296 vond er ten gunste van de kruisheerorde een schenking plaats van de nabijgelegen Oberhof Steinhaus en de bijbehorende kapel, die in 1811 werd afgebroken. In 1298 bevestigde zijn broer Konrad I. van Berg, voormalig domproost en archidiaken in Keulen, met goedkeuring van zijn moeder Margarete van Hochstaden de schenking van zijn overleden broer. Dit bevestigingscertificaat is de eerste schriftelijke vermelding van de gebeurtenis. In 1298 werd hier een kruisheerlijk klooster gesticht, het eerste klooster Steinhaus.
