Irsching Power Station nabij Vohburg aan de Donau, Duitsland, wordt geëxploiteerd als een zogenaamde piekenergiecentrale.
Van de oorspronkelijke drie eenheden wordt alleen eenheid 3 met een capaciteit van 415 MW geëxploiteerd, de oudere twee eenheden, met een capaciteit van 151 MW en 312 MW, zijn in koude reserve. De energiecentrale kan worden bedreven met lichte stookolie en met aardgas. De eigenaar en exploitant van de eenheden 3 en 4 is Uniper, een dochteronderneming van E.ON Energy, terwijl eenheid 5, ook geëxploiteerd door Uniper, eigendom is van Gemeinschaftskraftwerke Irsching, een joint venture van Uniper, N-ERGIE uit Neurenberg, Mainova en HEAG Südhessische Energie.
