La centrale électrique d'Irsching près de Vohburg sur le Danube, en Allemagne, est exploitée en tant que centrale de pointe.
Des trois unités originales, seule l'unité 3, d'une capacité de 415 MW, est en service, tandis que les deux anciennes unités, d'une capacité de 151 MW et 312 MW, sont en réserve froide. La centrale peut fonctionner avec du fioul léger et du gaz naturel. Le propriétaire et l'exploitant des unités 3 et 4 est Uniper, une filiale d'E.ON Energie, tandis que l'unité 5, également exploitée par Uniper, appartient à Gemeinschaftskraftwerke Irsching, un partenariat entre Uniper, N-ERGIE de Nuremberg, Mainova et HEAG Südhessische Energie.
