Het kasteel Auerbach of Auerbacher Schloss aan de Bergstraße in de zuid-Hessische Kreis Bergstraße is een kasteelruïne, die een van de imposantste en krachtigste kastelen in Zuid-Hessen is. Als cultuurmonument staat het Auerbacher Schloss onder monumentenzorg.
De kasteelruïne Schloss Auerbach ligt oostelijk van de Oberrheinische Tiefebene, op de Auerberg, die tot de westelijke randbergen van het Odenwald behoort. Het ligt oostelijk boven Auerbach, een noordelijke stadsdeel van Bensheim. Ten noorden daarvan sluit de Melibokus aan, de hoogste berg van de Hessische Bergstraße.
