De Elisabethkerk is tegenwoordig een evangelisch-lutherse kerk in de Duitse stad Marburg en werd gesticht ter ere van de heilige Elisabeth van Thüringen die ook wel bekendstaat als Elisabeth van Hongarije. De kerk, die bovenop haar graf werd gebouwd, was gedurende de middeleeuwen een van de belangrijkste pelgrimsoorden van Duitsland. De bouw werd begonnen in 1235 en 48 jaar later was de kerk voltooid. De Elisabethkerk in Marburg en de Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk in Trier zijn de eerste zuivere gotische kerken van Duitsland.
