Balduinstein is een station in de Duitse staat Rijnland-Palts aan de Lahnvallei Spoorweg. Het ligt ten noorden van de gemeente Balduinstein aan de oever van de Lahn.
Het Bonnse bouwbedrijf Spuhn, dat de opdracht had gewonnen voor de aanleg van de Lahnvallei Spoorweg tussen Balduinstein en Runkel, begon in het najaar van 1857 met de werkzaamheden in Balduinstein. Sinds augustus van datzelfde jaar was het bedrijf Georg Mayer uit Alzey bezig met de Crambergtunnel, waarvan de oostpoort ten zuiden van Balduinstein ligt. Het resulterende materiaal werd gebruikt als vulmateriaal voor de spoorlijn, wat leidde tot de sloop van vele huizen tegen de zomer van 1860. De toegang van de inwoners tot de Lahn werd verzekerd door een aantal tunnels en viaducten.
