Bij het mijnbouwbedrijf Barbara Erzbergbau GmbH, gevestigd in de Oostwestfaalse stad Porta Westfalica in Noordrijn-Westfalen, betreft het vandaag de dag de exploitant van de laatste Duitse ijzererts mijn, de mijn Wohlverwahrt-Nammen. Het bedrijf Barbara Erzbergbau GmbH werd in 2003 afgesplitst uit de Barbara Rohstoffe GmbH als onderdeel van een transformatie en werd belast met de actieve mijnbouw.
