Het Gymnasium Ernestinum Rinteln is een algemeen vormend moderne talen gymnasium in Rinteln. Het draagt bovendien de titel Europeschool.
Bij het Ernestinum worden ongeveer 1200 leerlingen, voornamelijk uit de stad Rinteln en de buurgemeente Auetal, lesgegeven in de leerjaren 5 tot en met 13. Het gymnasium biedt zijn leerlingen in het taalkundige gebied de vreemde talen Engels, Frans, Latijn, Spaans en Chinees aan en dekt bovendien het mathematisch-natuurwetenschappelijk en het muzisch-artistieke gebied. Het Ernestinum onderhoudt partnerschappen met scholen in België, China, Frankrijk, Japan, Nederland, Polen, Spanje en de VS.
