De mijn Luisenthal was een steenkolenmijn in de Völklinger stadsdeel Luisenthal, die in 1820 in gebruik werd genomen en de kolenwinning op 17 juni 2005 stopzette. De mijn werd bekend door het ergste mijnongeluk in de geschiedenis van de Bondsrepubliek, waarbij op 7 februari 1962 299 mijnwerkers omkwamen.
