De Phoenix Contact Arena is een multifunctioneel gebouw op de Innovation Campus in Lemgo. Het is ook de speelplaats van de handbalbundesligist TBV Lemgo.
De Phoenix Contact Arena werd in 1977 gebouwd als schoolsporthal met slechts 200 plaatsen onder de naam "Lüttfeldhalle" voor de beroepsscholen van de Kreis Lippe. Al in de eerste twintig jaar van haar bestaan vonden er verschillende verbouwingen en uitbreidingen plaats in directe nabijheid van de Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe. In 1983 lag het aantal plaatsen op 950, waarvan 870 zitplaatsen waren. De behoefte aan ruimte bleef groeien en men besloot om uit te breiden met 600 plaatsen. Een andere tribune met 520 zitplaatsen werd in 1985 ingewijd. Dit bracht de totale capaciteit op 2000 bezoekers. Voor een volledige verbouwing van de hal ontbraken toen de financiële middelen.
