Het kasteel Blens staat op 205 m boven NHN aan de oostrand van Blens, een wijk van Heimbach boven de Rur in de gemeente Düren, Noordrijn-Westfalen.
Al aan het begin van de 12e eeuw wordt een Johannes de Blens genoemd. In 1380 stierf de familie de Blens in de mannelijke lijn uit. Door huwelijk kwam het hoogte-kasteel vervolgens aan de familie von Berg, die in 1550 uitstierf. Agnes von Blens erfde het complex. Door huwelijken kwam het kasteel via de baronnen Raitz von Frentz in de 18e eeuw aan de baronnen Beissel von Gymnich. Weer door huwelijk kwam het kasteel via Georg Anton Beissel von Gymnich in de 20e eeuw aan de familie von Abercron, die het vandaag de dag nog bezit en bewoont.
