Het huis Zindler aan de Himmelgeister Landstraße 171 in Düsseldorf-Himmelgeist werd in 1967 naar ontwerpen van Paul Schneider-Esleben voor Martin Zindler gebouwd.
Het woongebouw is een voorbeeld van brutalisme: “Met de materiaalkeuze [beton], het onthullen van de constructie en de zoektocht naar volume neemt hij principes van de ‘betonbrutalisme’ over”. De ongepleisterde betonnen plafonds zijn van buitenaf zichtbaar en omgeven de verschillende bouwonderdelen. Een hoge betonnen toren steekt uit het betonnen gebouwencomplex. In zijn vorm doet deze denken aan een scheepsschoorsteen.
