Het kasteel Leerodt was een waterkasteel in het Wurmtal en is vandaag de dag als ruïne behouden gebleven tussen de plaatsen Süggerath en Müllendorf aan de L 42 op het grondgebied van de stad Geilenkirchen.
Sinds wanneer het kasteel Leerodt bestond en wie het heeft gebouwd, is niet meer bekend. Maar al in het jaar 1308 werd de ridderzetel vermeld als "curia de Leirode" en ook het gelijknamige riddergeslacht. De eindlettergreep "rode", "roide", "rodt" laat vermoeden dat het kasteel, vermoedelijk in de na-karolingische tijd, in een ontginningsgebied werd gebouwd, net als de omringende dorpen Randerath, Uetterath, Tripsrath en Süggerath.
