Het Mandelholztalsperre is een waterretentie reservoir en bevindt zich tussen de plaatsen Elend en Königshütte in de stad Oberharz am Brocken in het Harz. Het houdt de Kalte Bode tegen bij hoogwater.
Het stuwmeer werd gebouwd van 1952 tot 1957 en bestaat uit een aarde dam met een geïntegreerd controlepad van beton. Om de damrand te beschermen tegen overstroming, is er zuidelijk van de dam een overloop aangebracht als hoogwaterontlasting. Voor het laatst liep de stuw bij de overstroming van 1994 over.
