Altliebel, Obersorbisch Stary Lubolń, is een dorp in het uiterste westen van de gemeente Rietschen in de Saksische Landkreis Görlitz. Het maakt deel uit van het officiële Sorbische nederzettingsgebied in Saksen.
De gemeente Altliebel, bestaande uit de dorpen Altliebel, Nappatsch en Neuliebel, werd op 1 januari 1973 samengevoegd met de gemeente Hammerstadt en de gemeente Viereichen tot Viereichen. De nieuwe gemeente Viereichen voegde zich op 15 maart 1992 samen met de gemeenten Daubitz, Rietschen en Teicha tot de gemeente Rietschen.
