Tönning is een gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Sleeswijk-Holstein. De stad maakt deel uit van de Kreis Noord-Friesland.

Bezienswaardig zijn onder andere de historische haven, meerdere 17e-eeuwse gevels en de barokke evangelisch-lutherse Sint-Laurentiuskerk met beschilderd plafond.
