De Grupello-piramide is een sculptuur op de Paradeplatz in het centrum van Mannheim. Ze werd aan het begin van de 18e eeuw gemaakt door de Vlaamse beeldhouwer Gabriel Grupello.
Johann Wilhelm werd in 1690 keurvorst van de Pfalz. Tijdens de Pfälzische opvolgingsoorlog verwoestten de Fransen het kasteel van Heidelberg, waardoor hij in Düsseldorf ging wonen. Daar bevorderde hij kunst en cultuur en benoemde hij Gabriel Grupello tot hofdichter. Het plan voor de piramide ontstond vermoedelijk al in 1699, toen de bouw van een nieuw giethuis begon dat geschikt was voor grotere sculpturen van bronsgietwerk. De eerste deelgiet vond kennelijk in augustus 1705 plaats. De piramide werd waarschijnlijk in 1714/15 voltooid.
