De Otto-Friedrich-universiteit Bamberg is een universiteit in Bamberg in de Duitse deelstaat Beieren.
Ze werd in 1647 als Academia Bambergensis door prins-bisschop Melchior Otto Voit von Salzburg opgericht met de faculteiten Theologie en Filosofie. Tot 1770 werd ze als eerbetoon naar de oprichter aangeduid als de Academia Ottoniana. Toen volgden de faculteiten Recht en Geneeskunde. Met deze vier traditionele faculteiten verkreeg de instelling in 1773 als volwaardige universiteit van de prins-bisschop Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim de naam Universitas Ottoniano Fridericiana naar zijn twee stichters.
