De Schlosskapelle St. Maria Magdalena is een kapel in de Essense wijk Bredeney, waarvan de naamgever Maria Magdalena is. Ze werd in 1337 gebouwd van Ruhrsandsteen.
Vandaag de dag wordt de kapel verzorgd door de parochiegemeente St. Markus in Essen-Bredeney. Ze werd gesticht door Theodor von Leythe, gewijd aan de Heilige Magdalena en behoort als slotkapel tot het Slot Baldeney, het voormalige zetel van een ministeriaal van de Werdense abdij. Het uiterlijk gaat terug op een verbouwing in de 16e eeuw, terwijl de inrichting in haar binnenkant uit het jaar 1821 stamt. Het door zuilen gedragen portiek komt vermoedelijk ook uit de 19e eeuw. De slotkapel behoort tot de propsteigemeente St. Ludgerus. De innerlijke inrichting stamt uit de tijd van de herwijding in 1821. Na de restauratie in augustus 1994 werd de kapel weer voor diensten vrijgegeven. Op 16 augustus 2015 kreeg ze een nieuw altaarbeeld.
