Het is in het monumentenregister van Quedlinburg als woonhuis opgenomen en bevindt zich westelijk van de historische binnenstad van Quedlinburg aan de westzijde van de Wallstraße in een hoekligging ten noorden van de aansluiting van de straat Marschlinger Hof.
Het huis, dat doet denken aan een villa, werd in 1903 gebouwd door Robert Riefenstahl. De plattegrond van het huis is trapvormig. Aan de kant van de Marschlinger Hof bevindt zich op de gevel een Jugendstil-weergave van een boom, voortkomend uit stucwerk. Het gebouw beschikt over dakkapellen en vakwerkgevels. De deuren en ramen van het huis stammen nog uit de bouwtijd.
