Die Gemeinde Benningen und der Förderverein Benninger Ried e.V. haben die Umgestaltung des ehemaligen Mesnerhauses und des dazugehörigen Areals an der Riedkapelle zu einem Info-Zentrum für das Benninger Ried umgesetzt. Im Mesnerhaus sind nun das Riedmuseum und ein Café untergebracht. Der zum Gebäude gehörige, vormals völlig verwilderte Garten wurde dabei zu einem Themengarten (Element der Kneipp'schen Lehre: Kräuter) umgestaltet.
