De Landkreis Illertissen was tot zijn ontbinding in 1972 een Landkreis in het Beierse bestuursgebied Schwaben. De zetel van het Landkreis was Illertissen, dat in 1954 tot stad werd verheven. Op het moment van zijn ontbinding omvatte het Landkreis 42 gemeenten. Het Landkreis Illertissen had geen wapen.
Het Landkreis Illertissen lag in het westen van het Beierse bestuursgebied Schwaben, aan de grens met Baden-Württemberg, ongeveer in het midden tussen Ulm / Neu-Ulm en Memmingen.
