De Main-Kraftwerke AG was een energiebedrijf dat in 1910 in Höchst am Main werd opgericht. De dochteronderneming van de Elektrizitäts-AG voorheen W. Lahmeyer & Co. werd in 1923 samen met het moederbedrijf door RWE overgenomen. De in 1911 in bedrijf genomen krachtcentrale in Höchst is meerdere keren uitgebreid en gemoderniseerd. In 1999 werd de krachtcentrale Höchst stilgelegd en in 2004/2005 gesloopt. Op de voormalige locatie van de krachtcentrale bevindt zich vandaag de dag het bestuursgebouw van Süwag Energie AG, dat in 2001 uit de fusie van verschillende deelnemingen van RWE, waaronder de Main-Kraftwerke AG, is ontstaan.
